Sounds good ,think easter is a bit later next year. Easter sun 24 apr I think so w/end after would run nicely into May bank holiday.

That's strange cos only last weekend, on one of those rare occasions that I was having a bite to eat, I overheard a conversation. One guy was telling the other how Christy has a fan club and that it has 20,000 members Wink

When the 4711ers are on tour they rarely get the opportunity to eat due to the number of commitments (gigs, sessions, early mass, putting new strings on the guitar) but... when they do get to the table they make it count Smile

I was only just saying to Reubenmann the other day maybe we could send a signed picture to the 1000th person signing. Or maybe a lovely Richie or Ketscha portrait. (Harbinson clutching his pint could be a wonderful 4711 poster boy) Or maybe CM could donate something. Seems only yesterday when there were only 100 people on. How time flies! xx

This "portrait" was captured by the one and only Lord Richfield of Clon, and depicts an aura of total contentment and "Oneness" with the world.
Post outstanding Friday solo gig and session, just pre outstanding Q & A with Oprah the Rose and Christy the Hat. A pint of plain in hand, the sun beaming in the sky, the best company a man could ask for, Lisdoonvarna, life just doesn't get much better for a "Christy" head........................

Yeah John, the thought crossed Conor's mind (and mine I suppose) to register Ger as the 1000th member but it just wouldn't be right.

Yay! This is fantastic! Seems like only yesterday. Christy is such a huge part of my life. And to have this site makes me feel closer to others who feel the same way.
Let's all raise our glasses (of water) to Reuben who pays for the hosting of the site (and of course the geeky expertise) and to Christy for embracing the cyber era so wholeheartedly. Xx
